What electrical services do you offer? Hang Loose Electrical provides residential, commercial, marine, EV charger, caravan and shed electrical services across Moreton Bay and North Brisbane, plus 24/7 emergency call-outs. Commercial work includes fit-outs, maintenance, test and tag, and emergency lighting.
Do you do marine electrical work? Yes. Marine work is carried out at our Clontarf workshop, with boats brought in by arrangement. We handle boat rewires, trolling motors, sounders, LED lighting, and battery and fuse distribution.
What areas do you cover? We cover Redcliffe, Clontarf, North Lakes, Caboolture, Strathpine, Chermside and the wider Moreton Bay and North Brisbane area. Other parts of South East Queensland, including the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, are available by booking. Call 0492 268 126 to check your area.
Do you offer emergency electrical services? Yes. We are available 24/7 for urgent faults, power outages and electrical safety hazards. During office hours call 0492 268 126. After hours, call our emergency line on 0487 259 697. After-hours surcharges apply.
Are you licensed and insured? Yes. We hold Queensland Electrical Contractor Licence 91200 and carry $20 million public liability insurance. All work is completed to Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000).
Do you offer a warranty? Manufacturer warranties apply to the products we supply, and your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply to our workmanship. We will confirm the warranty details for your job in your quote. We are rated 4.7 stars from 242 Google reviews.
Can you work on caravans and campers? Yes, we do caravan and camper electrical work. Call us to discuss your setup and we will confirm what we can do and where the work will be carried out.
Who will do the work? Our team includes 9 electricians and apprentices, supported by management and office staff. Owner Brad leads the business, and Michael manages construction and operations.
Can you wire sheds and outdoor buildings? Yes. We wire sheds, garages and workshops, including lighting, power points, sub-boards and underground supply, all to Australian Standards.
