What electrical work do you do in homes?
Everyday repairs and fault finding, power points, lighting, ceiling fans, smoke alarms, safety switches, switchboard upgrades, split systems, EV chargers, renovation wiring and rewires. Every job is done by licensed electricians to AS/NZS 3000.
How much does a home electrician cost?
Standard attendance and the first hour is $149 inc GST, then $37.50 per 15 minutes. Common jobs have starting prices: smoke alarm replacement from $89, LED downlight replacement from $79 each, double power point replacement from $119 and safety switch replacement from $189. Bigger jobs are quoted in writing first. See the price guide.
Do you do renovation wiring and rewires?
Yes. We rough in, cut out and fit off switches, power points, lights and downlights through renovations, working from your plans or a site visit. Renovation work is quoted in writing before we start.
Do you need a deposit?
Domestic quoted work needs a 50% deposit, with the balance on completion. Small call-out jobs are charged at our standard rates when the work is done.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. We are licensed and insured (Queensland Electrical Contractor Licence 91200, $20 million public liability insurance), all work is done to Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000), and our workmanship is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. We confirm the terms in your quote, and your rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply.
