Shed and workshop electrical: common questions
Can't see your question? Call 0492 268 126 and talk to the team.
How much does it cost to run power to a shed?
It depends on the distance and what you need inside. We look at the run from the meter box, then quote the cable, any sub-board, lights and power points.
Do I need a sub-board in my shed?
For a workshop with several circuits, usually yes. A sub-board gives the shed its own protection and room to add circuits later. We size it to what you plan to run.
Can you do three-phase power?
Yes, including mains, sheds and workshops. Three-phase work is quoted after a site check.
Can the cable go underground?
Yes. Underground supply runs in conduit to the required depth. We explain the trenching needed when we quote.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes. We are licensed and insured (Queensland Electrical Contractor Licence 91200, $20 million public liability insurance), all work is done to Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000), and our workmanship is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. We confirm the terms in your quote, and your rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply.
